Douwe Macaré

Douwe Macaré is a professional skateboarder. And a damn good one. He fell in love with skateboarding when he was only 11, and has since become one of the most accomplished skateboarders in the Netherlands.

He’s known for his refreshingly smooth style and ability to land difficult tricks with ease, landing him in several national and international competitions, including the Dutch National Skateboarding Championship in 2015, 2019, 2020. He even won silver at the Urban World Series in Madrid this year. As a pro skater, Douwe knows the dedication, physical and mental training it takes to stay at the top of your game. But also the rewards that come with it. It’s because of this passion for the sport that Douwe wants to help grow skateboarding for the next generation.
